This mountain lake view was complete with a brilliant colorful sunrise during a chilly October morning in 2020. The hike started off in the dark and much of it was done by headlamp. As the sunlight finally spilled over the ridge just across the lake, colorful bright reds, yellows, oranges and greens became illuminated and vibrant. Schroon Lake, NY.
